About 30 minutes south of San Francisco in Burlingame, Kohl Mansion offers a completely different atmosphere.

What sets Kohl Mansion apart is the variety of spaces available throughout the property. Nella Terra Cellars
Set among the rolling hills of Sunol, Nella Terra Cellars feels private while still remaining close to San Francisco.
Conveniently located just off Interstate 680, the venue is easy to reach. Once you arrive, the vineyards and landscaped grounds make it feel far removed from the city. Its location in the East Bay also makes it convenient for guests traveling from multiple parts of the region.

With Napa and Sonoma offering a variety of hotel accommodations nearby, it’s a great choice if you want to turn your wedding into a full weekend.

Full Belly Farm
Located about two hours from San Francisco in Capay Valley, Full Belly Farm is another venue that rewards couples willing to venture beyond the city.
It offers a wedding experience that’s deeply connected to the landscape. You will love this venue if you appreciate locally grown food, wide-open spaces, and a celebration that feels distinctly Northern California.
The property is surrounded by mature walnut trees, orchards, flower fields, and working farmland. Ceremonies are often held beneath the farm’s historic walnut grove, and receptions on the farmhouse lawn.

While it’s one of the furthest wedding venues San Francisco Bay Area couples may consider, the combination of privacy, beautiful surroundings, and immersive guest experience makes it a destination that’s well worth the drive.

Some couples know they want a wedding venue in San Francisco, and for them, City Hall or another iconic city location is the perfect fit. Others begin their search in San Francisco only to discover that the surrounding Bay Area offers more of what they’re looking for.

Redwood venues create a peaceful atmosphere that’s uniquely Northern California. Many venues outside San Francisco also make logistics easier. They offer convenient parking, nearby hotels, and enough space to host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception without moving guests between locations.
That’s one of the reasons so many couples eventually expand their search to include the surrounding region.
