I fell in love with film not just for how it looks, but for where it led me. What began as a slower way of photographing gradually opened doors to places I never expected to visit—across Northern California and into cities, deserts, coastlines, and quiet corners throughout the U.S. Film became both a reason to go and a reason to stay longer, to look harder, and to move through unfamiliar places with curiosity and intention.
This ongoing body of work captures landscapes, street scenes, and fragments of daily life—what I think of as lifescapes. Shooting film asks for patience: waiting for the right light, anticipating moments without certainty, and trusting the process before seeing the result. Its tones, texture, and imperfections hold a quiet honesty that feels true to how these places were experienced, not just how they appeared. These photographs are less about destinations, and more about presence—slowed down, observed, and felt.
Majority of the work here was shot on Portra 400. Dev/Scan by Gelatin Labs.

Because these moments deserve to be remembered as they truly were — unfiltered, full of feeling, and unmistakably yours.
Based in the Bay Area — San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma, Carmel, the California coast, and beyond. I've photographed weddings at venues like Filoli, Nestldown, Sea Ranch, and Stonepine Estate, plus intimate City Hall ceremonies and elopements in Yosemite, the redwoods, and along the coastline.
